What are some of your favorite ways to stay active?
My favorite ways to enjoy fitness have changed over the years. At times I have loved putting on some headphones and making the rounds at the gym. Other times I have loved dancing or alternative options. Below are some favorites in case they spark ideas for you.
Favorites as of 2022:
- Daily crunches – Have you seen the daily challenges where you do a little bit each day? I adopted that idea a couple years and started doing at least 100 crunches every morning. It is a great way to start the day and always get a small workout every day.
- BodyBalance which is also sometimes called BodyFlow by Les Mills is amazing. It is a combination of pilates, tai chi, and yoga. Les Mills offers great workouts paired with inspiring music. There other programs like BodyPump and BodyCombat are great too.
- Zumba is always fun! I follow Henry on Instagram and YouTube, he’s awesome. 🙂
- Yoga – Personally, yoga keeps me feeling good. It stretches me out and is a great stress relief too. A local yoga studio is always fun and Yoga with Adriene is a favorite of mine too.
