Thoughts, Musings, and Quotes about Life
Some days are tough personally and some days we all feel struggle collectively with what goes on in our world. We never know when we look at the news or open social media what happy or sad updates we’re going to see.
These are reminders for myself, maybe they mean something to you too:
Whatever your days look like, whatever your struggles, remember to turn to those things that bring you healing and find your peace in them. Processing may take the form of car rides, music, writing, art, coloring, reading, comedy, or others. For me writing is a wonderful outlet, hence I’m sharing some of my journaling with you today in this post. I hope you’re also inspired to pour into something you love.
There’s so much turmoil that can bring us down. Ideally we’d live in a world where we could be joyful completely 24/7. But sometimes we need to have other emotions too. I know at times I have to remind myself not to be afraid to have sad feelings when needed. Acknowledge, process, and release it.
Remember to take deeps breaths. Care for yourself so you can keep being your best for others. The problems of the world can seem massive. But the power of your ability to process those things in healthy ways and stay strong in your goodness day to day makes such a big difference. * Found the “Feel the feeling but don’t become the emotion. Witness it. Allow it. Release it” quote and image on Pinterest. It’s powerful, wish I knew who to credit for it. : )
