Dear synopsis

Dear synopsis,

I’ve been working on you for days. I want you to accurately depict the intricate novel I slaved over, but you’re making that very difficult. My favorite places can’t be given any discription and some of my most loved side characters no mention.

Well you may be a pain but I’ll have you know this isn’t over! From seven original pages down to three… I will perfect you. So take that.

If you can relate to the above, check out this site. Its been the most useful advice I’ve seen so far and is particularly geared toward fantasy fiction. Even if you’re not a writer you may find the complexity of a two to three page synopsis interesting.
