The 21 Question Game: Are You a Gozerian, Ghostbuster?
everyone!
Amanda Kline, has started a blog over at http://suddendreamer.blogspot.com/
and is very excited to get her feet wet in the blogging world. If you have a
few moments, please pop over and give her a warm welcome to the awesome writing
community I’ve been telling her about =-)
post, Amanda answered 21 questions and tagged me via Facebook to do the same.
So here goes…
21 Questions
after anyone?
friend at the time I was born and a nurse from the delivery room that made my
mom feel very supported during my birth (yes, I wasn’t cooperative and gave the
whole delivery squad and my poor mother a hard time). Hence my double name, Emilyann.
2. When was the last time you cried?
was working on the final chapter in the sequel to The Labyrinth Wall.
3. Do you have kids?
Benny cat (he gives me a run for my money).
4. If you were another person would you be a friend to
yourself?
question. Since it’s hard to say what I’d be like as this “other person” I don’t
suppose I can answer that one accurately. So, I don’t know.
5. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
mean, I guess sometimes. I’m never indecisive or dance around my answers. Ha!
6. Will you ever bungee jump?
do that one. Not ever. Oddly, I’m okay on a roller coaster, but bungee jumping
and sky diving are no-nos.
7. What’s your favorite cereal?
away from cereal. If it comes into my home, I devour it in two days or less.
Fruit loops, lucky charms and frosted flakes would be near the top.
8. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
person. If they smell really good, I notice that first, but if they make eye
contact well, I might notice that first. It all depends on the individual.
9. What is your eye color?
10. Scary movie, or happy endings?
scary movies, I guess I’d go with happy endings. That said, I’m not all about
happy endings. I’m more of a realistic ending fan when it comes to movies and books.
11. Favorite smells?
okra at Bosphorus (a yummy Turkish restaurant), Aqua Kiss Victoria’s Secret
body spray, lavender, carnations and though the headache that followed taught
me I shouldn’t be sniffing it, evidently I like the smell of primer! Ha! I
discovered this when I
received beautiful pine art from Darin Garnett a couple weeks ago. J
12. Summer or winter?
Or Spring if it was an option. I’m a warm weather girl. I’d rather break a
sweat every day than have to wear a jacket. Give me skirts and sunshine or give
me death (or something like that).
13. Computer or television?
get lost in my writing, catch up with old friends and still have the ability to
watch favorite shows.
14. The furthest you’ve been from home?
in my current house in Orlando, Florida, the farthest I’ve traveled away is to
Las Vegas. However, when I was five and living in Turkey (my dad was in the Air
Force), I believe the furthest I traveled was back to Tallahassee, Florida.
15. Do you have any special talents?
question seems to change now and then. At times in my life, I’ve been unusually
skilled at predicting movie plots. I can count to three in Turkish. And I went
through a phase in high school where (for whatever reason) I was super into Baby Got Back… and as of a couple months
ago I still knew the words from start to finish. Does any of that count? =)
16. Where were you born?
was a side effect of my dad’s Air Force life).
17. What are your hobbies?
18. Do you have any pets?
everyone’s favorite “directionally challenged,” doesn’t usually land on his feet like he should cat, Benny.
19. Favorite movie?
pick a favorite anything, much less movie. For the sake of playing along, I’ll
say Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (both parts).
20. Do you have any siblings?
brothers! They’re a hoot. I’d post some pictures to put them to shame, but in
case they check in on this post, I’ll not.
21. What do you want to be when you grow up?
ominous, somehow. When I was in elementary school, my answer to this question
was always Catwoman. But, I’d say I
want to keep doing what I’m doing. Being an Author, a wife, a sister, an aunt, a
daughter, a Christian and a creative soul keeps me pretty busy and happy.
(and trust me I don’t blame you if you only read two of those). So here’s the
big question… Are you ready to answer 21 questions about yourself? It’s a
weird, introspective exercise, but it was a nice little deviation from my
normal writing practices. If you’re a regular visitor of this blog, consider
yourself tagged (you know who you are, so I won’t call you out). And if you’re
new, feel free to try it too. It’s a fun way to get to know yourself a little
more and open opportunities to connect with others as well.
regularly scheduled Movie Mashup programming ;p So I’ve added my own 22nd question:
