Movie Mashup Monday
Take a guess…
We’ve got a fun and quick mashup this week. Can you guess
Below you will find a few clues. In this mashup, a Disney character
has stumbled upon a magical lamp during his travels. He had a wrestling match
with a monkey in a hat, but he won the lamp for himself. See if you can guess which
character has stolen from the monkey based on his wishes…
I wish I had big wings
I wish I had all the riches in China
I wish this annoying little cricket would get a life and bother
I wish I would be better at using chopsticks
I wish dishonor and stinky feet on all dragons who think
they’re better than me
I wish for a big juicy turkey… because it’s just that time
Let me know if you figured out the characters and movies. I’ll
check back in with the answer next week.
Other things that are going on:
I’ll be back this week with a fun post for Crystal Collier’s
blog tour, so keep an eye out for that.
When I first started blogging, I sometimes featured other artists and writers in a series called Fellow Creatives. It’s something I’ve been wanting to pick up and do again. I’m inviting anyone who is interested to sign up over in the right column. If you sign up, I’ll send you a short interview (the theme will be imagination, of course). These will be casual and posted as they’re available (no special schedule, unless you request a certain date).
The Labyrinth Wall
Available January 2nd
Thank you so much to everyone who has signed up for events and shown your support on Facebook
. If you haven’t yet, you can still sign up for the release events
happening for The Labyrinth Wall. There are fun things, like games and gift cards
An excerpt from the beginning of the book:
I glance around at the large crowd. Like tiny pebbles that gather at a river bank, we coat the barren landscape sweeping out in front of the castle, only to be dissected at its edges by the openings of labyrinth passageways. The dark cylindrical fortress stretches far above us like a snake looming over its prey; Simul’s words the venom it sprays. We’re all enemies to each other by the Creators’ design, competing for food that only comes to us at the Creators’ mercy.
